Agnikul cosmos is India's first space agency. It was founded by two IIT Madras student Srinath Ramanujan and Moin SPM in Chennai. So agnikul name is pretty interesting it is derivative of gurukul which means the place where you learn play with fire.
They are planning to launch affordable micro and nano satellites to low earth orbit with approx payload of 100 kg. Recently they has planned to launch their rocket from US due to high GST taxes on private players of india in space but after govt new bill about removal of GST on Indian private sector, they may use ISRO facilities for launch.
