India's first stealth unmanned combat vehicle Ghatak UCaV is going to take it's first flight by end of this year

Ghatak is India's stealth unmanned combat vehicle programme of india which is currently in development.

Programme for this UcAV was started in 2009 earlier called AURA( autonoumus unmanned research aircraft)

Recently chennai based DRDO lab has handed landing gear for Swift UcAV to aeronautical development agency. Swift UcAV is small category prototype of Ghatak UcAV which has been made to show stealth and combat vehicle technology for Ghatak UcAV.

So there is full chances that in the end of this year we would see first flight of SWIFT prototype of Ghatak UcAV. This UcAV is correlation with India's fifth generation aircraft(AMCA) programme, because Ghatak will be used as wingman for India's fifth generation fighter aircraft.

This UcAV now become first priority project for Indian defence. After successful test flight of SWIFT UcAV a proposal will be sent to cabinet committee and than full scaled version of Ghatak UcAV will be built.

There is very low information is available in public domain for this programme because it was kept secret
